Todd Fontenot, M.D. is board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology and Maternal-Fetal Medicine by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology.  Dr. Fontenot received his Medical Degree and completed his residency training at Louisiana State University Medical Center Shreveport. He then completed his fellowship training at the University of Kentucky.

Dr. Fontenot has published scientific literature in peer review journals and medical text books, made hundreds of speaking engagements / scientific presentations, served on academic and community based medical committees, received awards for academic / scholarly achievements and provided peer review for scientific journals.

Dr. Fontenot has been with Florida Perinatal Associates since 2003 and practicing Maternal Fetal Medicine since 1996. Before joining Florida Perinatal Associates, Dr. Fontenot practiced Maternal-Fetal Medicine in Johnson City Tennessee and served as Assistant Professor at the University of Kentucky.  He sees patients in Tampa, Brandon, Sarasota and Clearwater.

Dr. Fontenot is married , has two children and enjoys coaching youth athletics and running.
